Rules for Proceedings Submission

1. Proceedings for all presentations must be submitted through the web page, which uses a submission system. Proceedings submitted through other media (e.g. e-mail, fax) will NOT be accepted by the Symposium Secretariat.

2. We do NOT collect manuscripts at the on site of the symposium.

3. Proceedings submission process require the Presentation Number (Y-01, P1-123, etc.).


Page allowance:

– 1 or 2 page(s) for Akabori Memorial Award Lecture and Special Lectures

– 1 page for other presentations

Instructions for Authors

1. Download a manuscript template file (Word .doc format).

2. Edit a manuscript template. We recommend that you prepare a separate file of a manuscript and copy and paste each part of your text into a manuscript template file. Do not change the manuscript size, margins, and font definitions. Graphics should be prepared monochromatically, since the proceedings will be printed in black and white. An example file is available here.

3. Save your manuscript files as .doc file. The filename can use only alphanumeric character, underscore "_" and hyphen "-", e.g. "any_name.doc".

4. Prepare the PDF file as "any_name.pdf".

5. Proceed to the Submission Page.
